September 2019 School Holiday Programme - Auckland
Our school holiday programme is designed to provide knowledge and skills for a lifetime of safe boating. Over 4 days we cover a wide range of fundamental boating knowledge such as dealing with emergencies, weather, safety equipment, using a VHF radio and give way rules plus much more.
It includes the full Day Skipper AND Maritime VHF Radio Operator courses and as an added bonus, both of these offer the opportunity to earn NZQA credits! (an additional cost may apply).
An optional extra session will put you afloat on aboard one of our boats where you will get to use the material we've covered in the programme.
Secure your child's place now by filling out this form and emailing to education@coastguard.org.nz.
Alternatively, call the team on 0800 BOATIE (262 843) and we can get it sorted for you.
