Papakura

Papakura Volunteer Coastguard Inc is a unit of long standing in the Manukau Harbour.  Based out of Bottle Top Bay up the Papakura Channel, this vessel can also be towed to any location, East or West coast, and launched as needs be.  This gives the Papakura unit the versatility that many other units don't have, making them a valuable resource for search and rescue.

The unit is well supported by local businesses, and this is much appreciated by the crew.  This gives the unit a community and family-oriented atmosphere, that makes a day on the boat so much fun.

Training is on 1st, 3rd & 4th Wednesday night at 1900 at 1 Wellington Park.
