Leaving a Bequest
Auckland is indeed, a City of Sails. Northland is considered one of the best sailing grounds in the world. Over three quarters of the boating done in New Zealand takes place on the beautiful harbours, Hauraki Gulf, Bay of Islands, and northern coastline. Just imagine….

Coastguard is totally dependent upon memberships, grants, donations, sponsorships, and bequests for the funding required to support the services we provide to the people of the northern region.

…if we run short of funding, we may not be there when we are needed the most – when someone’s life is in imminent danger. It may be a child on an inflatable toy; a fisherman with a serious cut; a young yachtsman caught on the rocks.

… you can help us ensure that the funding for the ongoing provision of all our services is always in place by contributing to the Coastguard Northern Region Endowment Fund through a bequest.

If you would like some assistance, please email our Marketing Manager Don Scandrett, who will be happy to talk with you and find the best way to meet your objectives. dons@coastguard.org.nz

All solicitors will also help you with your will, and in making a bequest.

And the Public Trust are also very experienced and will walk you through so that everything is in place just the way you want it. http://www.publictrust.co.nz/wills/
